Then, beneath the twisted branches of a forbidden oak, they witness something impossible.

After that night, Sunlove begins to change.

People vanish. Blood appears in places it shouldn’t. Familiar faces return wrong. And somewhere beneath the town, an ancient evil is remembering the way back.

Whatever is coming does not care that they are children. It will not spare their families, their friends, or anyone foolish enough to stand between it and the power it has waited centuries to reclaim.

Adam, Brooke, and Nad have spent their lives pretending to battle monsters. Now the monsters are real, the adults cannot save them, and courage will be measured in blood.

 They will be terrified. They will make terrible decisions. They will refuse to leave one another behind. But before Halloween is over, people will die. And not everyone will see the sunrise.
